If you feel as though your partner is not being as passionate or enthusiastic in the relationship as they once were, it might be possible that your partner might feel his/her needs are not being met. Before you decide to break it off, it might be helpful to be open and honest with your partner and share your concerns. Ask them if something is up and if there is anything you can do to help them do better? Then let your partner lead the way and you simply follow but don’t expect anything back. See how they respond when you focus on their needs. If they respond in a way they used too, that makes you happy and you feel safe with your heart, that is a great thing. My suggestion is to try this method for 30 to 90 days (30 days minimum, 90 days for best results) and see how your partner reacts to you. When doing this, it’s so important to give it your all and really show them how much you love and appreciate them. If your partner loves you, they will respond to you in a positive way—they will tend to your feelings and needs too—without you having to ask. However, if your partner doesn’t respond in the way you hoped, and you still feel the passion is dwindling from the relationship, you’ll now have a better understanding of where your relationship stands and it might be time to say farewell after all. As upsetting as that might be, at least you’ll have peace of mind. On the positive side, you will be able to move on with your life, ready to meet someone new who could be the one.
